The Stirring

I mentioned Monday that there is a stirring in my spirit that tells me we are coming into the last days before the return of Jesus Christ to this earth. Of course, much tribulation is supposed to occur before His return and Christians are to be raptured out so we will not have to endure the cataclysm. That stirring within me seems to be getting stronger. That tells me the world is getting ready to change in unprecedented ways. What are those ways? I’m not sure, but many think the next terrorist attacks in the U.S. will involve a nuclear explosion and dwarf 9-11. Just read the book of Revelation to get an idea of what’s to come.

Then there’s the continuing violence by Muslims in the Middle East as a result of the Muhammad cartoons. This type of uprising will just continue to grow and escalate.

The Middle East will be the focal point of End Times events and will never see peace until Christ splits the sky and returns to set up his kingdom.

I’m currently reading John Hagee’s book titled, “Jerusalem Countdown.” It’s pretty much gloom and doom as to what’s ahead, but very interesting. The day will come when the world as we know it will be long gone, and I believe that day is getting closer. But what a glorious time it will be when Jesus Christ returns and peace and harmony will finally exist.
