In Phillip Yancey’s excellent book, “What’s So Amazing About
Grace?”, he says that grace may be the most important word in
the Bible, resting at the heart of the Gospel. Here are other
points from this wonderful book:

*Grace is Christianity’s best gift to the world, a spiritual nova
in our midst, stronger than vengeance, stronger than hate,
stronger than racism.
*Guilt exposes a longing for grace.
*Grace comes free of charge to people who do not deserve it.
*The gospel of grace begins and ends with forgiveness. Grace
is the only force in the universe powerful enough to break the
chains that enslave generations. Grace alone melts ungrace.
*Grace does not depend on what we have done for God, but
rather what God has done for us.

To offer grace is to offer healing.
